JOB DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our client HR team. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified candidates for blue-collar positions from India, specifically fabricators and welders, and bringing them to the UAE with cost-effective measures. Additionally, you will be involved in white-collar recruitment within the UAE.
JOB SUMMARY (Major functions of the position)
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire fabricators and welders from India. & UAE.
- Conduct thorough screening and selection processes to identify qualified candidates.
- Utilize various channels, including job portals, recruitment agencies, and social media platforms, to source potential candidates.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to arrange interviews, trade tests, and medical examinations for selected candidates.
- Facilitate the necessary paperwork and documentation processes, including visa applications and travel arrangements.
- Identify cost-effective measures to optimize the recruitment and hiring process.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate competitive rates with recruitment agencies, travel agencies, and other service providers.
- Explore alternative recruitment channels and strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining the quality of hires.
- Continuously evaluate and improve cost-saving initiatives related to the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on the UAE job market trends and industry requirements for white collar positions.
- Utilize job portals, professional networks, and recruitment consultancies to attract and hire qualified professionals for white collar roles.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidates’ skills and qualifications.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
- Maintain a strong network of recruitment agencies, job portals, and professional organizations to enhance the talent pool and streamline hiring processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment consultancies, job portals, and other relevant entities in the UAE.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their recruitment needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Foster positive relationships with candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience
QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, preferably with expertise in blue-collar recruitment from India & UAE and white-collar recruitment in the UAE.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labour laws and regulations related to recruitment.
- Familiarity with job portals, recruitment consultancies, and other relevant platforms in the UAE.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
